On the 7th of March, a meeting was held for the support of women entrepreneurs, especially in the handicrafts sector, in the UNAMA camp.

On January 1, 2024, according to the previously determined and arranged plan, a sewing course for immigrant women who returned from the neighboring countries of Iran and Pakistan was opened and launched by Ms. Farishte Heravi, the head of Heravi brand and institute, in order to empower women. In this course, 15 migrant women were recruited after completing their forms and documents. The mentioned course runs every day from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM and subjects of sewing, beadwork, mirror embroidery, design, literacy, mathematics and religious sciences are taught by three experienced professors of this institute.

The tailoring course, which was previously created for the purpose of empowering immigrant women returning from Iran and Pakistan, continues daily as normal, and 15 women are present in it, and it is progressing according to plan. The mentioned course is taught by three experienced professors in the fields of sewing (cutting and sewing in a practical and theoretical way), bead embroidery, mirror embroidery, literacy design and religious sciences. The daily and weekly teaching process is monitored and evaluated by the administrative officials of this institution, which includes both groups of professors and students of the course.

The sewing course was opened for returning women from Iran and Pakistan, and the purpose of this course was to empower women, and it lasted for three months, in which the themes of sewing, bead embroidery, mirror embroidery, design Literacy and religious sciences were taught by the experienced professors of this institution. At the end of every month, the students of the course are given an exam and they are graded according to their grades and grades, and the outstanding students are identified as first, second and third grades and are honored by the institute. Also, the teachers of the comment course will be awarded a certificate of appreciation for their evaluation. It is worth reminding that a certificate of graduation from the course will be distributed to the graduates of the mentioned course.

On Sunday, Ms. Zarghune Nooran, the vice president of the Hervey brand, visited the Intercontinental exhibition. In this exhibition, which was held at Intercontinental Hotel, companies and businessmen from different sectors participated and displayed their products. The main purpose of participating in this exhibition was to see the variety of work of different workshops.

During the last week, a meeting was held at the head of the office with the presence of Fereshte Heravi, the head of the Heravi Institute of Initiative and Human Aid, and Omid Helali, with Shafiqullah Mahshid and Ms. Forozan Kohestani, the head of the Kapisa Women's Chamber of Commerce. The main purpose of this meeting was to work on building understanding. It was a multilateral letter between the institutions so that through this memorandum of understanding, we could take action to get bigger projects.

Today, Thursday, May 9, the monthly meeting of UNDP was held in Kandahar Hall in Kabul Sattar Hotel. In this meeting, a representative from Ebtekar and Humanitarian Aids Institute, Ms. Fereshte Heravi, head of the institute, Ms. Zarghune Nooran, vice president of the institute, director of human resources, Sudaba Hanif and Safia Shakur from the institute's secretariat participated in this meeting. In this meeting, Hervey Institute hosted Ms. Hunt and Shafiqullah Mahshid from UNAMA.
