Values in Action

Inclusive Environment

A special section for the deaf has been established within the organization, allowing them to showcase their artistic talents. Currently, three deaf individuals work with us, skilled in latticework and wood carving.

Staff Development

As part of our commitment to inclusivity, HIRO has initiated a daily Sign Language training program for its staff. These classes are conducted by deaf colleagues, fostering better communication within the organization.

Capacity Building

We conduct internal training sessions to enhance staff capacity, covering policy explanation, proposal writing, and time management. Staff also participate in seminars organized by UNDP.

Community Partnership

HIRO is a member of the UNDP Secretariat and voluntarily collaborates with UNAMA. We have signed multiple agreements with local organizations including CCD, WSEDO, EAEDO, and others.
