The mission of HIRO has always been to serve the people of Afghanistan, particularly vulnerable groups such as women and the disabled. A special section for the deaf has been established within the organization, allowing them to showcase their artistic talents. Currently, three deaf individuals are working with us, skilled in latticework and wood carving. The organization collaborates with them to introduce their art and generate income by receiving various orders.
As part of our commitment to inclusivity and empowerment, HIRO has initiated a daily Sign Language training program for its staff. These classes are conducted by the deaf individuals who are part of the organization, ensuring that all employees gain essential skills in sign language, fostering better communication and understanding within the organization.
We are always looking for passionate individuals who share our vision of creating positive change in Afghanistan. If you want to make a difference, we'd love to hear from you.
